Gerhart Machinery grew from Roger Gerhart’s 1957 contracting business into a Lititz-based specialist in used heavy construction equipment, with particular expertise in Northwest and Bucyrus-Erie cranes and draglines. The company operates a 25-acre equipment and attachment yard alongside a large heavy-equipment repair facility, where it rebuilds, remanufactures, services and transports machinery for customers near and far. Gerhart Machinery also traces its equipment operation to Gerhart Equipment, established in 1976 and renamed in 2000.
