Founded by Chris Powell in 1990, Good Harvest Farms is a family-owned Strasburg farm that grows fresh produce, flowers and year-round hydroponic lettuce and herbs. Its 28 farmable acres and more than 50,000 square feet of greenhouse space supply wholesale, group and fundraising customers, along with the farm stand at the Lancaster County Farmers Market in Wayne. The farm also uses sustainable practices, including integrated pest management.

Its indoor closed-loop system uses over 90% less water than conventional farming, while local distribution can put greens on tables the same day they are harvested.
