Founded in 1980 by artists Peter Hanan and Rick Lerner, Hanan & Lerner Fine Woodworking designs and builds custom millwork and coordinated remodeling projects for homes and commercial spaces across the DC area. Now a second-generation, family-owned company led by Devin Hanan, it works from a 3,000-square-foot Maryland shop and has expanded its commercial capacity through the acquisition of Broadwater Woodworking. Its projects range from custom kitchens to distinctive spaces such as an award-winning Georgetown wine room.
