The team works from Windy Hollow Farm, where Jay renovated an 1876 farmhouse and built a workshop for projects ranging from heirloom-style furniture to highly individual “off-the-wall” creations. Its service area includes Maryland, southern Pennsylvania, northern Virginia, and the West Virginia panhandle.
Smith Custom WoodworksFounded by wood artisan Derald Smith, Smith Custom Woodworks is a small, family-owned Baltimore shop that handcrafts solid-wood furniture, cabinetry, home décor and kitchen goods. Its made-to-order work is built from carefully selected hardwoods, including lumber sourced from family-owned sawmills in Maryland and Pennsylvania, and shaped through patient milling, traditional joinery and hand-applied finishes.
