Since 1911, Hickory Chair has made fine upholstered and wood furniture in its Hickory, North Carolina workroom, where craftspeople produce personalized pieces to order. The company says roughly 90% of each product is made within its facility, and its Made For You programs extend that hands-on approach to custom dimensions, finishes and upholstery. An on-site Artist’s Studio adds hand-painted decoration developed with designers, making each piece especially personal.
