Founded in Chicago in 1951 by Vito Ursini and Jerry Seiff, Interior Crafts Inc. makes customized furniture with upholstery, woodworking, and finishing carried out under one roof. The company’s custom upholstered frames can be made to size, while its furniture is built with traditional details such as hardwood construction and eight-way hand-tied springs. After opening a showroom in the Chicago Merchandise Mart in 1958, Interior Crafts moved to its current Cullerton Avenue factory in 1968.
