I&J Manufacturing began building horse-drawn farm equipment in a barn in 1984 and now makes agricultural implements for both horses and tractors, including precision sickle mowers and cover-crop rollers. Family owned and operated, the company moved to a larger facility near Intercourse in 2015 and added shop space and a paint booth in 2021. Its equipment serves farms across the United States, with a particular focus on horse-powered agriculture and regenerative, no-till practices.
