Its patented magnetometers and automated measurement systems were designed to deliver reliable, accurate results without operator adjustments, including the RMM, which became a major tool for mapping remanent properties of disks and MR-head wafers. The company developed its instruments in response to customer measurement challenges before changes in the recording industry led it to close.
