Columbus-based Invirsa develops INV-102, a drug candidate designed to help cells respond to DNA damage in ocular and respiratory conditions. Its approach uses a brief, predictable activation of p53 to support DNA repair while limiting inflammation, with clinical development focused on diabetic dry eye and other eye injuries. Invirsa is also collaborating with Nationwide Children’s to study INV-102 in lung disease and has a five-year, $29.6 million BARDA partnership supporting ocular injury work.
