What began with John and Dot’s weekend winery visits became a family-owned vineyard and small-batch winery on 16 acres in rural Eighty Four, Pennsylvania. John planted the vineyard in 2007 and the couple opened J&D Cellars in 2011, remaining directly involved from growing grapes and making wine to running tasting rooms and packing shipments. The winery also supports local home winemakers through its supplies selection and the Washington County chapter of the American Wine Society.
Setter Ridge VineyardsFamily-owned Setter Ridge Vineyards grows grapes and makes European-style wines on steep, south-facing hillsides in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
