Founded by Larry and Judy Jeffords in Plattsburgh the day after their 1985 wedding, Jeffords Steel and Engineering Company is a family-owned fabricator of structural and miscellaneous steel for construction projects across the Northeast. The company has grown from a 30-by-30-foot rental shop into two New York facilities spanning more than 100,000 square feet and employing over 100 people, while keeping design-build and engineering capabilities in-house. Jeffords has been an AISC-certified fabricator since 2000 and is also an AWS Certified Fabricator Facility.
