Kent Cartridge grew out of a group of sportsmen who set out in 1996 to create affordable, non-toxic ammunition after lead shot was banned for migratory-bird hunting in North America. Today, its West Virginia factory produces shotgun shells for hunters and shooting enthusiasts, while the company’s own employees use the ammunition in the field and at the range.
