Led by namesake owner and creative director Laura Weber, L.W. Pearl Atelier is a Manhattan textile studio creating luxury hand embroidery, machine embroidery and bespoke embellishment for fashion and interior projects. Its team brings more than 75 years of combined experience and has developed work for designers including Thom Browne and Marc Jacobs, with pieces worn by figures such as Michelle Obama, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga. The atelier handles projects from initial sampling through final production and received the 2022 CFDA FMI Grant and Nest Seal of Ethical Handcraft.

Founded by hand weaver Tara Chapas in 2008, the studio draws on a family weaving tradition from Evoia, Greece, while its fabrics are made in the United States by trained American artisans.
