Founded in Baltimore in 1865, Lacy Foundries is a family-owned, five-generation casting company that coordinates patterns, castings and machining from drawing or sample through finished part. After its Fells Point foundry closed in 1996, the company shifted to a broker model, drawing on long-standing relationships with pattern shops, foundries and machine shops to match each job with the right producer. Its history includes marine castings and restoration work, including paddles and frames for the C&O Canal and rooftop ornaments for The Walters Art Museum.
