LEKI USA makes poles and gloves for people who move through mountains, trails and snow, with a particular focus on lightweight equipment that can keep pace with both elite athletes and everyday adventurers. Its story of innovation reaches back to 1974, when Klaus Lenhart and Reinhold Messner developed the adjustable Makalu trekking pole, and the company still tests products in demanding conditions while supporting more than 1,000 athletes. LEKI also designs for a longer life, offering replacement parts and repairs for worn equipment rather than treating every old pole as disposable.
