Spun out of the University of Tartu in August 2020, LightCode Photonics develops direct Time-of-Flight 3D cameras that help robots and autonomous vehicles perceive their surroundings. The Tartu team has grown to 20 people, including PhDs in photonics and physics, and has worked with technology companies and the European Space Agency.
