Voyant Photonics develops chip-scale FMCW LiDAR sensors that give intelligent machines simultaneous depth and velocity data through silicon photonics and on-chip beam steering. Founded by Cornell-trained photonics researchers, the New York company combines coherent imaging chips with field-deployable sensors for applications ranging from automotive safety to robotics and infrastructure monitoring. Its Carbon platforms are available now, while the fully solid-state Helium device is designed for compact mobile systems.
