Since 1880, Long Island Ice & Fuel has made and delivered packaged ice while supplying Long Island homes and businesses with fuel from its Riverhead operation. Founded as Riverhead Ice, the Conklin family business is now in its sixth generation, producing more than 300,000 pounds of ice daily and storing up to 1,000 tons for large orders. It also maintains IPIA certification through annual PIQCS inspections and still produces clear Clinebell blocks for ice sculptures and luges.
