About

Founded in 1974 by Rod and Joan MacGregor as a live-lobster supplier to New York City restaurants, family-owned LP Seafood & Specialty has grown into a major fishmonger and foodservice wholesaler in the New York metropolitan area. It supplies seafood and specialty foods to commercial kitchens and retail outlets, and operates an SQF-certified seafood processing facility. The business remains family-owned and is led by their son Ian, who has run it since 2002; its 2021 merger with Gourmet Cargo expanded its specialty-food and beverage line.
