In Blairsville’s restored Brizzi Building, Market Street Pastries is a family-owned bakery-café making fresh pastries and made-to-order food while preserving a downtown gathering place. Rebecca Wiley Marshall and her husband, Jeff, opened it in August 2011 after restoring the historic property, whose Queen Anne façade dates to about 1900. The bakery’s maple roll revives a recipe from Jeff’s family’s former Federal Bakery, bringing back a local favorite that had been absent since the late 1970s.
