Founded in 1892 by German blacksmith Alexander G. Kloene to forge braces for Civil War veterans and children, Marshall Kloene now creates custom orthotics, pedorthics and prosthetics in Ohio. The practice still emphasizes hands-on fabrication at its own facility while pairing that tradition with current materials and technology, and it works with physicians, therapists and families across its Maumee and Bryan locations.
