Carrying a family orthotic-and-prosthetic tradition that began with J. Harvey Lett in 1933, West Virginia Orthotic & Prosthetic makes and fits custom braces and artificial limbs in Beckley. Gerald and Alan Lett continued that legacy when they opened the center in 1997, bringing multiple generations of hands-on fabrication and fitting experience to patient care. The facility is accredited by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics, with practitioners certified through ABC or BOC.
