Established in 1866, Mercer Rubber Company manufactures rubber expansion joints and flexible connectors for demanding piping and duct systems. The Hauppauge company is the oldest U.S. manufacturer of rubber expansion joints, with more than six decades focused on the field and about 70% of its work customized to specific design requirements. Its engineers and in-house fabrication team also support unusually large applications, including a 96-inch pressure-balance installation for a Malaysian power plant.
