Since 1947, Micelli Chocolate Molds has designed and manufactured precision injection-molded polycarbonate molds for chocolate makers, from artisanal chocolatiers to large automatic production lines. Founded in Manhattan as a metal-mold supplier, the company pioneered thermoformed plastic molds in North America before entering polycarbonate injection molding in the 1970s. Based in Long Island, Micelli says it is the only U.S. manufacturer using this process for chocolate molds and has completed more than 7,000 custom mold projects.
