Rooted in Middle River since Glenn L. Martin opened the Baltimore-area aircraft plant in 1929, Middle River Aerostructure Systems (MRAS) designs and manufactures complex aerostructures, including nacelle systems and specialized airframe components. Its 2-million-square-foot Chesapeake Bay facility carries more than 95 years of civil and military aircraft heritage and now supports aerospace customers from design and production through product service. MRAS, part of ST Engineering since 2019, also operates an FAA/EASA Part 145 repair station for nacelle maintenance, repair and overhaul.
