Mike Korsak is an Orford, New Hampshire furniture maker whose reverence for wood began with his grandfather, a hobbyist woodworker and carpenter. After studying Wood Products at Pennsylvania State University and working in timber framing and carpentry, he developed a studio practice centered on original, finely detailed furniture shaped with traditional hand tools. His work has been exhibited in juried shows and he also teaches woodworking at Dartmouth College.

• Thornbury Wood Design BuildDave Cloud, a lifelong woodworker and former Boeing manufacturing technology leader, founded Thornbury Wood Design Build in 2015 after more than four decades in furniture design and construction. Working from the New Hope area of Bucks County, Cloud creates individualized furnishings shaped by careful material selection and a blend of traditional craft with aerospace-informed technical experience.
