The Meyer family has tended Orchard Hill Farms since 1969, when they planted the first 600 apple trees by hand in Kendallville. Today, the farm combines orchard growing with a retail market and wholesale relationships with area grocers, while its harvest-season tours give school groups and other visitors a look at how fruit moves from the trees through packing and distribution.
