Born from a 1959 underground mining-equipment rebuild shop, Morgantown’s Progressive Industries now handles large-scale fabrication and mobile equipment repair for the energy industry and other heavy-duty operations. The family business took its current name in 1972 and works from a 61,000-square-foot machine shop, carrying its coal-industry roots into oil and gas projects as well as equipment rebuilds.
