Brooklyn’s Radix Printing & Publishing Cooperative is a Black-led, worker-owned union print shop and independent publisher, producing commercial print work and books in-house. Founded in Portland in 2010 and based in Prospect Heights since 2012, Radix grew from custom stationery and political pamphlets into a publishing program that prioritizes voices from typically marginalized communities. Its collective management gives the workers who print and produce each project a direct voice in the business.
