Founded from owner John Petrocelli’s vision and named for his father, Raphael Wine carries on a centuries-old family tradition of winemaking on Long Island’s North Fork. Coffee Pot CellarsBorn from a sunset glimpse of Orient Point’s Coffee Pot lighthouse, Coffee Pot Cellars has made small-batch wines from 100% North Fork of Long Island fruit since Adam Suprenant founded the Cutchogue winery in 2008. Suprenant brings more than 30 years of winemaking experience, a UC Davis master’s degree in enology, and training at Château Lafite Rothschild and in Napa Valley to a traditional, minimalist approach. Rose Hill VineyardsSet in a 125-year-old barn on Long Island’s North Fork, Rose Hill Vineyards grows grapes and makes estate wines as part of a small winery-and-inn experience. Its 28 acres under vine are farmed sustainably with minimal intervention, while solar panels and a wind turbine supply the energy for the winery, cellar, vineyard and farmhouse inn.
