Brooklyn artist Ed Roth turned a 1990s stenciling hobby into Stencil1, a street-art-inspired company founded in 2004 that makes reusable customization tools and runs hands-on creative projects. Its laser-cut Mylar stencils are made in the USA, while the company also creates custom installations, community murals and DIY events, including murals designed for community members to finish themselves.
