On a 348-acre farm in Odessa, the Hoffman family makes artisan cheese and bottles milk from its own herd, carrying on a dairy tradition that began there in 1905. Sunset View Creamery’s on-farm creamery, added in 2004, turns its own cows’ milk into farmstead cheeses while the family’s store offers fresh dairy products and other local goods. Visitors can also see the operation firsthand through farm tours and the creamery’s distinctive cow-cuddling experiences.

Dygert Farms CreameryDygert Farms Creamery is a 13th-generation dairy farm and on-farm creamery in New York’s Mohawk Valley, producing milk from its own cows and processing it on the family farm since 2021. The operation traces its roots to 1723, when the Dygert family received the original 50 acres, and remains one of the area’s few operational bicentennial farms.
