Founded in 2004, T.Y. Fine Furniture builds solid-wood furniture by hand in Columbus, Ohio, using traditional joinery and hardwoods sourced from naturally fallen Ohio trees. Founder Tarik Yousef brings an engineer’s eye to a small, roughly ten-person shop where each piece is made to order rather than outsourced. Its food-grade, zero-VOC organic finish—developed with an Ohio State University microbiologist—along with a lifetime structural guarantee reflects the company’s aim to make furniture worth repairing and passing down.
