Modulus Water, IncModulus Water develops containerized desalination systems that use solar and wind power directly, storing water rather than electricity to provide reliable supply without a grid connection or large battery bank. Founded by former ARPA-E leaders Dr. Jonathan Burbaum and Dr. Amul Tevar, the company brings together expertise in energy innovation, water systems and AI. Its mobile systems are designed to shift between agricultural irrigation, emergency response and austere defense environments.
Isolation Systems, IncIncorporated in 1998, Isolation Systems, Inc. manufactures field-deployable environmental control equipment and custom support systems for military, disaster-response and medical operations. Based in North Tonawanda, the company shifted its focus to expeditionary markets in 2005 and has since supplied equipment used from Alaska to Argentina, including more than 1,000 specialized units deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Its engineering team is known for moving custom concepts from paper to prototype quickly, often within a month.NORTH TONWANDA, NY
