Founded on Baltimore’s waterfront in 1924 by Charles Buck Lynch, The General Ship Repair Corporation is a family-owned shipyard that repairs and maintains workboats, tugs, barges, and other vessels. Now under fourth-generation Lynch ownership, the company works from two 1,000-ton floating dry docks and also provides industrial fabrication and repair through its Baltimore Metal Works division. Its 45-person team supports vessels both at the yard and throughout the port with 24-hour mobile repair service.
