Born from a Pittsburgh music and nightlife venue established in 2003, The Smiling Moose now brews crushable beers, seltzers, hard root beer and other fermentation experiments in Grove City. Brewing began with a small Pittsburgh system during the COVID era and grew into a larger brewery whose beers are distributed throughout western Pennsylvania. Its taprooms pair the house brews with a casual pub atmosphere, including burgers at the Grove City location.
