Founded by August Thiele in 1935, THIELE GmbH & Co. KG manufactures round steel chains and forged components for conveying and lifting technology at its Iserlohn site. The company began making mining chains in the 1950s and now combines forging, machining, testing and simulation under one roof, including custom product development. Its history includes building a 915-metre, 100-ton anchor chain, while its products remain used in mining, load handling and bulk-material conveying.
