Since 1933, Vale Wood Farms has turned milk from its own herd and neighboring family farms into dairy products at its countryside processing plant in Loretto, Pennsylvania. The family farm spans about 500 acres, milks 200 cows, and is operated by the third and fourth generations of C.A. Itle’s descendants. Its “From Moo to You” model carries the farm’s products through an on-farm store and weekly delivery service to homes, schools, stores, and businesses across the region.
