Vilma’s Bakery is a family-owned Haverstraw bakery making authentic Dominican cakes, pastries, fresh bread and custom celebration desserts. Opened in 2011 by Dominican-born immigrants Vilma and Raymundo Lopez, it carries forward recipes and decorating knowledge Vilma learned from her grandmother, master baker Lucia Reynoso, in Tamboril. Their three children now work in the business, keeping the family tradition active in the community.
