Born from Central New York’s local-food renaissance, Adirondack Distilling Company was founded by master distiller Jordan Karp alongside Dr. Bruce Elwell and attorney Steve Cox. The company gives a former F.X. Matt Brewing Co. finance building new life as a distillery, where its makers use regional ingredients and German stills to create spirits for the surrounding community and New York State.

Lock 1 Distilling CompanyOpened around Memorial Day 2017 by three cousins, Lock 1 Distilling Company makes small-batch spirits in Phoenix, becoming the first distillery to open in Oswego County since Prohibition. It operates as a New York State Farm Distillery, sourcing its winter wheat, rye and corn from nearby Lysander and using custom equipment handcrafted by two of the owners.
