Baja Buckeyes is a student-managed off-road race team that designs and fabricates an off-road vehicle each year for Society of Automotive Engineers competitions. The organization provides hands-on experience in automotive and powersports engineering, fabrication, project management, and business management.
University at Buffalo SAESince 1984, University at Buffalo SAE has been a student engineering club that designs, builds, tests, and races off-road vehicles through SAE competitions. Now competing as UB Motorsports in Baja SAE, the collegiate chapter draws 105 undergraduates from across engineering disciplines and has built more than 50 vehicles. CWRU MotorsportsCWRU Motorsports is a student-run Case Western Reserve University engineering team that designs, builds, tests, and races single-seat off-road vehicles for Baja SAE. Its current SR25 vehicle was developed over nine months and brings a new four-wheel-drive system, larger 23-inch tires, and custom components made in-house.
