Bearcats Racing is the University of Cincinnati’s student-run SAE racing program, designing and building formula, Baja, and electric racecars for national collegiate competition. Its teams manage the full project—from engineering and fabrication to fundraising, testing, and racing—giving students hands-on preparation for automotive and technology careers. Bearcats Electric Racing, founded in 2020, focuses specifically on developing a more sustainable future through Formula SAE Electric.

Terps RacingSince 1982, Terps Racing has been a University of Maryland student-run program that designs, builds, tests and races formula-style and Baja off-road vehicles for collegiate competitions. More than 120 students work across its internal-combustion, electric and Baja teams, gaining hands-on experience in a dedicated machine shop and assembly space. RIT RacingFounded at Rochester Institute of Technology in 1991, RIT Racing is a student-built Formula SAE program known for passing engineering knowledge from one generation of members to the next. More than 60 active students now carry that tradition into electric-car competition, where the team earned its first FSAE Michigan championship in 2024 and followed with overall wins in Pittsburgh and Toronto in 2025.
Baja BuckeyesBaja Buckeyes is a student-managed off-road race team that designs and fabricates an off-road vehicle each year for Society of Automotive Engineers competitions. University at Buffalo SAESince 1984, University at Buffalo SAE has been a student engineering club that designs, builds, tests, and races off-road vehicles through SAE competitions. Now competing as UB Motorsports in Baja SAE, the collegiate chapter draws 105 undergraduates from across engineering disciplines and has built more than 50 vehicles.
