A sixth-generation Ohio maple-farming family, Bissell Maple Farm produces and bottles pure maple syrup from its 40,000-square-foot facility in Jefferson. What began as a backyard operation has grown into a large-scale supplier for retail, food service and ingredient customers, while still working with regional maple producers to support year-round supply. Bissell also puts a modern spin on its heritage with specialty products such as Nate’s Hot Maple and bourbon barrel-aged syrup.
