Rebuilt from two members in 2023, CCNY Racing is a small, hands-on student team at The City College of New York’s Grove School of Engineering. Its students design and build a single-seat off-road race car in their Harlem shop before taking it to Baja SAE competition. The team returned to dynamic events in 2025, passing tech inspection and finishing 43rd overall in South Carolina.

RIT RacingFounded at Rochester Institute of Technology in 1991, RIT Racing is a student-built Formula SAE program known for passing engineering knowledge from one generation of members to the next. More than 60 active students now carry that tradition into electric-car competition, where the team earned its first FSAE Michigan championship in 2024 and followed with overall wins in Pittsburgh and Toronto in 2025.
