A Baltimore practice with roots in the postwar era, the Center for Prosthetic Restorations was founded in 1947 by Army medical artist Felix B. Weinberg and is now led by Paula J. Sauerborn, who has specialized in detailed custom facial prostheses for more than 35 years. One of the country’s oldest continually operating facial and somato prosthetic firms, it serves patients nationally and internationally while combining sculptural artistry with modern digital modeling and collaborative medical care.
