Crown Electric grew from the former Westinghouse Iso Phase bus plant in Cincinnati, where its founders acquired the plant’s intellectual property and assets after the facility closed around 1986. Now based in Middletown, Ohio, the company works from a purpose-built factory expanded to more than 50,000 square feet, with a reputation built around hands-on service for the electrical power industry. Its mobile machine shop allows field crews to make or modify parts at a job site, a practical distinction during demanding maintenance and upgrade work.
