Founded in 1982 by Ron Andrews in Tunkhannock, Deer Park Lumber is a second-generation, family-owned sawmill and forestry services company producing kiln-dried Northern Appalachian hardwood lumber. The company produces approximately 15 million board feet annually and serves domestic and international markets, while its forestry team helps landowners manage timber with long-term regeneration and conservation in mind. Deer Park also puts its sustainability principles into practice by heating its kilns with sawdust and finding uses for nearly all of its wood byproducts.
