Hickman WoodsFor four generations, Hickman Woods has grown, milled, and crafted Northern Appalachian hardwood into flooring and lumber from its family-managed forests in western Pennsylvania. The family’s roots reach back to Harry Hickman’s logging work in the 1930s, while Allegheny Mountain Hardwood Flooring, founded in 2000, became known for character-grade rift-and-quarter-sawn and live-sawn flooring. The company produces approximately 15 million board feet annually and serves domestic and international markets, while its forestry team helps landowners manage timber with long-term regeneration and conservation in mind.
