Since John J. Yoder started it with five employees and a portable sawmill in 1944, Yoder Lumber has remained a third-generation, family-owned hardwood company rooted in Ohio’s Amish country. More than 80 years later, its vertically integrated operation helps builders and manufacturers source Appalachian hardwood for specialized projects, with lumber graded to NHLA and NELMA standards.
