Farm Up Jamaica Ltd. is a diaspora-formed U.S. 501(c)(3) charity that grows organic food in Jamaica while training youth and distressed farmers in regenerative, climate-smart agriculture. Formed by Jamaican diaspora members in 2013, the organization puts idle land to work through farms, student partnerships and agri-entrepreneurship aimed at reducing food imports and creating local livelihoods. Its work includes a pilot farm in Hanover and access to 100 acres of organic farmland through a partnership with Northern Caribbean University.

Katchkie FarmKatchkie Farm grows NOFA-certified organic produce year-round on a 60-acre farm in Kinderhook, with its first harvest dating to 2007. Owned by NYC catering company Great Performances, the farm pairs a direct-to-consumer CSA with holistic land stewardship and a strong farm-to-table focus.
